The Horace Mann School Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to enabling the realization of the educational goals of Horace Mann School in downtown San Jose, California.

As the oldest elementary school in San Jose, Horace Mann has a distinguished history of serving the diverse and changing population of the city. The vision of the school, "One School. One Community. The San Jose Redevelopment Agency and the Applied Materials Foundation helped reopen the school in 2004 in a showcase building on Santa Clara Street, across from the new Civic Center. The modern facility is a jewel designed by the firm of Moore Ruble Yudell, with well-equipped classrooms, rooftop garden area, large open lawn, and wired media center.
